Donate to Coronavirus Aid

Dear Friends of the Kazickas Family Foundation,

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) is presenting the world with an unprecedented situation that has impacted communities across the globe. Our thoughts are with the many people who have been affected.

We are focused on the safety of our communities in New York and in Lithuania while we continue to support vital programs, organizations, and communities in need. We are working closely with our partners during this challenging time and the evolving situation. Their work matters now more than ever. KFF has allocated more funds to help the families and children hit the hardest during this crisis.

To connect the Lithuanians around the globe who want to help Lithuania fight this battle, the Kazickas Family Foundation is kindly offering its platform to send donations to a few selected organizations in Lithuania that are working closely to help the ones affected by Corona virus the most. Please note, that KFF is only acting as an agent helping to connect your tax deductible donation in the US to the approved nonprofit in Lithuania. No amount of your donation is withheld by KFF for such a service.

Bellow you can learn more about selected organizations in Lithuania you can donate to:

  • YOUTH CAN - to support life skills education for youth in rural areas of Lithuania. While the program works mainly during the school year, it is crucial during this time that students have an outlet to stay active, positive and connected. The Youth Can team continues to provide online lessons, stays in touch with the students and their families and searches for ways to help the most vulnerable ones.
  • SAVE THE CHILDREN and SOS CHILDREN'S VILLAGES  – to support the most vulnerable at-risk children and their families during the pandemic. Currently they help more than 650 at-risk families in their network, providing families with basic goods and services, such as emotional support and guidance for parents lacking parenting skills. Currently they are raising money to prepare a shelter home for children living in unsafe environment.
  • HEALTHCARE INSTITUTIONS CHARITY FUND - to support healthcare workers fighting Covid-19 in Lithuania. It was established a decade ago and primarily supported Santariškės children’s hospital with medical equipment and supplies. Reacting to the Covid-19 crisis they have shifted their focus to actively raise money and acquire and distribute medical supplies to all the hospitals in Lithuania. One of the founders and Board members is President Adamkus.

To donate to any of the non-profits mentioned above, please use the Donate button on the top of the page that will lead you to Paypal payment page giving you an option to donate via Paypal or using your credit/debit card.

An email from Paypal confirming your donation is your receipt to submit with your taxes. KFF will not be sending any additional paperwork to the donors. At the end of the fiscal year our report will be available to the public

Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Wishing you good health during this difficult time.
