Sourcery for Kids

"Sourcery for Kids" first one in Lithuania invited 7-12 year old children to learn creative technologies and discover programming world for free. Initiative seeks to make IT literacy available to as many children in Lithuania as possible.

"Sourcery for Kids“ was started with the understanding that Lithuanians are strong IT developers and their work is well known in global arena. However, current IT education in Lithuania doesn't reflect that. IT literacy should be available to all children at the elementary school level. It is especially important to encourage girls to join IT education, because they still run into old fashioned stereotype regarding it.
