Dr. J. P. Kazickas Computer Science Forum for school children
04/21/2022

Kaunas University of Technology Faculty of Informatics (KTU IF) hosted more than 200 high school students participating in the Dr. Joseph P. Kazickas Computer Science Forum for school children.

The Dr. J. P. Kazickas Computer Science Forum has a long tradition and attracts a large number of participants every year. During the competitions, students test their IT knowledge, which they will need to take part in the Olympiads or in the final national exams. As well, high school students get acquainted with the KTU Faculty of Informatics and its professors.

This year, the students gathered at the KTU campus for a 3-hour-long programming challenge. While the students were solving the tasks, their teachers participated in various seminars led by KTU professors. After the assignments, while waiting for the results, the students took part in the KTU VR Lab activities, quizzes, and other interactive activities.
