KFF's Neila Baumilienė, Kiki Kazickas and Jack Kazickas participated at the "American Councils" conference "Increasing Diversity, Expanding Geographies in International Education: Public-Private Partnerships for the Global Era".
During the discussions why access to international education is critical to building an effective and responsible global workforce and citizenry, they got a chance to meet "American Council's" President Dan Davidson. Mr Davidson expressed that "'American Councils' highly values the chance to work with private foundations in the development of innovative educational programs and other initiatives that typically fall outside the parameters of government exchange funding. The ExCEL program with Lithuania is a remarkable example of this sort of innovation."
