SPROUT Coding, an acronym for Science, Programming & Uncommon Technologies, is a non-profit headquartered in New York that teaches computer coding, entrepreneurship and business development skills to young adults from high-density neighborhoods in Zimbabwe. Its goal is to educate and empower the next generation of learners and to create a path for underprivileged students to establish careers in the world of technology, both within Zimbabwe and around the world.

Started by Peter Kazickas and Eli Lubick in 2017, SPROUT Coding was inspired by their shared love of technology, adventure, and teaching. Essentially, their goal is to train teachers using the SPROUT curriculum and create a community of coding that will carry on long after their partnership is over.

The Kazickas Family Foundation is a proud supporter of SPROUT coding. In 2018 it invested $50,000 in the unlimited potential of a curious mind of young Zimbabwe coders.
