On 2/23 Youth Can (YC) became a recipient of the Lithuanian Olympic Committee’s (LNOC) “Fair Play project 2021” award.
Youth Can - the KFF’s life skills through sports program has been running for seven years and is based on personalized attention and support to children and youth. “This award is the result of hard work and sincere dedication of the program's coaches and coordinators in the face of the pandemic", Youth Can manager Arminas Vareika said.
The 27th Annual Fair Play in Sports Award lists six categories which are "Lifetime Achievement", "Athlete or Team for an Act of the Fair Play", "Young Individual for Their Career and Life in the Spirit of Fair Play", "Fair Play Project" and "Fair Play Organization". The LTOC President Daina Gudzinevičiūtė and the Head of the Lithuanian Fair Play Committee, Olympian Austra Skujytė presented the award to Arminas Vareika, Aiste Baronaite-Bertasiene and Benas Maciulaitis of YC, and the KFF Vilnius office director Agne Vertelkaite.
