The National Endowment for Democracy (NED) presented Lithuania's stateman Vytautas Landsbergis with the Democracy Service Medal. The Kazickas Family Foundation was the Patron of the Event. Kazickas Family Foundation was proud to support Lithuania's Idependence Day Celebration organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in the US, Washington, DC. One grant was given to the Dainava Lithuanian Chorale (Chicago, IL), ensemble of 80 members that gave a performance of the most celebrated Lithuanian songs. A second grant was given to the Celebration Committee. Foundation President Jurate Kazickas delivered a speech. In the picture, Albinas Markevičius, President of California Lithuanian Credit Union, main recipient of Lithuanian Diplomacy Star Award, Jūratė Kazickas and Žygimantas Pavilionis, Lithuanian Ambassador. 

The Kazickas Family Foundation was one of sponsors of Rock Band "Skyle" tour of the Lithuanian communities in the North America during the month of February of 2013. The 95th Anniversary of February 16th - Lithuanian Independence Day was celebrated.
