The KFF representatives participated in the event “Mes kartu — Ми разом — We are together” at the Ukrainian Center to mark the anniversary of the war in Ukraine.
On October 13-14, the social hackathon SMARTUOLIAI took place in Vilnius, aiming to promote emotional intelligence development among Lithuanian children and youth.
This summer Lithuanian diaspora youth had a chance to rediscover modern Lithuania, learn more about its history and culture, and get to know the Lithuanian business world and career opportunities. Most importantly, the unique experience with the "Bring Together Lithuania" program encouraged youth to become young Ambassadors of Lithuania.
Jurate Kazickas, the President of the Kazickas Family Foundation, and John Kazickas, Treasurer of the Kazickas Family Foundation, visited the Lithuanian World Center and participated in a variety of events. In the evening, inspired by the philanthropic mission of Juozas and Aleksandra Kazickas and their children, a concert took place in the Blessed Jurgis Matulaitis mission church.
The Kazickas Family Foundation, together with the Lithuanian Red Cross and the Lithuanian Football Federation organized the event "We are the Youth of the World". Lithuanian youth welcomed Ukrainian, Afghan, Sirian, and Venezuelan youth. A soccer match was organized to establish connections between youth, getting to know each other and different cultures.
Kaunas University of Technology Faculty of Informatics (KTU IF) hosted more than 200 high school students participating in the Dr. Joseph P. Kazickas Computer Science Forum for school children.
